Forestry: Forest Plan

Over the next 10 years of approval we will fell approx. 105,000m³ of timber through either clearfelling or thinning operations.

Objectives and Proposals

• We will optimise the financial return from timber production compatible with the achievement of other district objectives whilst complying with the UK Forestry Standard and meeting the requirements of the UK Woodland Assurance Scheme.
• Through the felling plan we will create linkage of open habitat across the forest.
